Speed Parallel of AI to Cars

I recently had an interesting conversation with one of our VPs. I was describing that we need to embrace the direction of AI. Today, AI is moving people from walking speed to car speed. When you think about it, that level of speed on a highway is significant, and it comes with real risk. Humans had to find the right safety measures such as air tires, seat belts, and airbags, along with many other protections that we now take for granted.
The same applies to AI. We can build faster than ever. Like cars, safety will evolve along the way, but as we embrace this journey, we should not slow down the evolution. Instead, we should take every opportunity to learn and improve the process. Often, people use terms like “AI harness,” but regardless of the jargon, the engine is already here. It is up to those with vision to leverage that speed while making it safer every day. Those who avoid experimenting will be left behind in a race where competitors reach the destination faster.
